Hand-made; custom-made Steel Leaders. I have to tip my hat to my Ibarra Uncles, they brought us up fishing for most of our lives. Lots of memories and lots of fish.
Most of my leaders are 180lb/200 lb. test, I also make cable style leaders but I've always preferred the wire.
I use Stainless Steel, but when I fished on a budget i also used carbon steel wire.
Hook Size: .09 to 13 size hook.

Snap Swivels, is must. I use them on all my fishing poles. When I'm done fishing I snap the leaders off and even when I'm fishing and I want to use other methods of leaders, it's fast and easy. This is something I picked up on an offshore fishing trip. Now I apply it on all my heavy action rods.
I also recommend this type of leader, its simple and easy to cast with longer poles. Actually its best on surf rods or longer rods. The leaders is shown with a tape measure for its length.
This is the standard Steel Leader, nothing fancy other than a solid leader.
Current hook size, and you can see the Chaser hook is smaller but can handle the load. Trust me on this, I've landed many fish on the Chaser.
Here's the standard ready for hook and sinker. All my leaders will come with the snap, this makes it a good accessories on your leader. It allows you to change size's on your weight selection.
Some times you want to sink all the way to the bottom, some times you wanna free float.
